My best friend is GETTING MARRIED!!! With this, obviously comes a Bachelorette party! Dani picked Pittsburgh, PA as her location, but other than that, she had no idea about anything! Leading up to the party, we all tried to throw her off by telling her to bring random things so she would have no idea what we were doing!
Saturday evening, we went to the hotel to get the rooms all set-up and ready for Dani’s arrival.
The other week, I made a banner that said “Future Mrs Constantino”. I used tips from this DIY blog and LOVED the way it turned out!
- Scrapbook paper
- Manilla folders
- Mode Podge
- Hole Punch
I found a pack of scrapbook paper from Michaels with all different patterns and gold foil and strung it together with gold string! Perfect for her Steelers themed Bachelorette Party!
I also created this cute door decoration for the hotel room!
*tip: bring painters tape for all hanging decorations as its safest for walls*
- white posterboard
- black matte scrapbook paper
- chalkboard pen
- silver glitter
- modge podge
I also made this silly chalkboard decoration:
Jenna & Allie No. (other bridesmaids) made clothespins with sunflowers on them to hang up photos of Dani and friends/family around the hotel room:
Another bridesmaid created a Bachelorette survival kit for the future-bride-to-be:
- Favorite snacks
- Selfie Stick
- Drinking Glass
One of my favorite surprises were these T-shirts that we had made for everyone at the party. One of Dani’s favorite movies is Bridesmaids, so she had a white shirt that said “This is such a stone cold pack of weirdos, and I am so proud” and the rest of us had various Bridesmaids quotes on black shirts! They were a hit and so funny and cute! We also got coozies made and had each person’s t-shirt and coozie on their bed for arrival
Once everyone was set-up and Dani arrived, we all put on our t-shirts and got ready for a Wine & Paint night!
After our Paint & Sip party we went out on the town!
The next morning we got up and tailgated for the Steelers game! We wanted to each bring a gift for Dani but didn’t want to do the traditional lingerie party, so I came up with the idea to bring an ornament that represents Dani or your friendship with Dani. I got Dani a goldfish in a fishbowl ornament and wrote “Puck” on it, after our goldfish we shared together in college. She loved it! I also wrote a poem to go along with it.
It was such an awesome weekend spent with new friends and old!
NEXT STOP: THE ALTER!!!
